Helmets

Students are required to wear proper riding helmets at all times on the ground while around horses and while riding. No exceptions. Riders are responsible for providing their own helmets. No bike, ski, or skateboard helmets.

Footwear

Riders must wear boots with at least a one inch heel on them to provide adequate stability while in the stirrups. Sturdy boots that protect the feet are encouraged. Absolutely no open toed shoes at the barn. Riders are responsible for providing their own boots.

Medical Information

It is the responsibility of the rider (or parents if student is a minor) to decide if they are physically fit enough to ride safely. Riders should inform the instructor of any injuries or ongoing conditions that may affect their ability to ride.
